Atrauman Silicone Dressings
The sterile wound contact layer Atrauman Silicone is used for atraumatic wound care, as it adheres gently but firmly to dry, and not wet, surfaces and therefore does not stick to the wound. Atrauman Silicone is soft and is easily draped and cut and is permeable to exudate. 
The individually sterile packed Atrauman Silicone wound dressings are available in various sizes.

  • Carrier material: Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) mesh 
  • Coated with silicone gel on both sides 
  • Very thin 
  • Soft and drapable
  • Can be cut 
  • Mesh structure makes it permeable to exudate 
  • Does not stick to the wound 
  • Available in various sizes 
  • Each wound contact layer is individually sterile packed. 
  • 1 pack of 10 units (20 x 30 cm contents 5 units)
Applications for Atrauman Silicone 
  • To care for acute and chronic surface wounds with light to medium exudation 
  • As a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and on areas with sensitive skin 
  • Can be used with the Vivano low pressure wound therapy system
