What is the Coban 2 Lite Comfort Bandage used for?

The Coban 2 Lite Comfort Layer is used as the first stage of the Coban 2 Lite compression system.

It is applied with the foam side against the skin, using only enough tension to follow the shape of the limb. The outer Coban 2 Lite Compression Layer is then applied over it to provide reduced therapeutic compression.

Together, the two layers form a stable compression system intended for patients who may require a lower level of compression than standard Coban 2.

Who is it suitable for?

Coban 2 Lite Comfort Bandage is intended for use as part of the Coban 2 Lite Two-Layer Compression System.

The Coban 2 Lite system may be suitable for patients who:

• Require reduced compression
• Have mixed arterial and venous disease
• Are less tolerant of full compression
• Are frail or less mobile
• Are new to compression therapy
• Require management of oedema or lymphoedema
