Description
Adaptic Touch Non-Adherent Silicone Dressing
ADAPTIC TOUCH ® is a non-adherent, flexible, open-mesh primary wound contact layer composed of cellulose acetate coated with a soft tack silicone to assist dressing. The dressings may be used in the treatment of wounds healing by secondary intention, including dry to heavily exuding, partial and full-thickness chronic wounds. In addition, it can be used in the management of traumatic wounds such as skin tears. As the silicone is slightly 'tacky' this may help to maintain the position of the dressing.
The non-adhering silicone dressing is a soft tack and has an advanced mesh design and is highly conformable. The mesh design minimises the risk of exudate pooling, maceration and secondary dressing adherance to the wound . Exudate is able to pass freely through the mesh.
