What are Provox Swabs used for?

Mucus and other secretions can build up inside tracheostomy and laryngectomy tubes or stoma buttons. If this build-up is not removed, it can restrict the internal space of the device and make routine airway care more difficult.

Provox Swabs are designed to help remove this build-up during cleaning when the tube or button has been removed from the patient. The flexible handle and foam head allow the swab to clean internal surfaces while helping protect the device from scratches.
