Advazorb Silfix®
Advazorb Silfix® is a soft and conformable, hydrophilic, polyurethane foam dressing with an atraumatic soft silicone adhesive contact layer and breathable backing for low to heavy exudate levels.
• Hydrophilic foam dressing with silicone wound contact layer
• Wound contact layer enables the dressing to be placed onto patient while a secondary dressing is applied for retention
• Provides gentle adherence to intact skin as the hydrophobic nature of silicone ensures that it won't adhere to a wet wound bed
• Available in regular and "lite" versions to suit a range of wounds
Advazorb Silfix® Hydrophilic Foam Dressing is suitable for acute and chronic wounds, cuts and abrasions, superficial burns, surgical wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic ulcers.
Do not use on arterial bleeds, heavily bleeding wounds or vascular fungating tumors.
